OUR FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL
Guided by Compassion, Experience, and Care
Cremation Through Water & Funeral Services was founded by a team of professionals who believe that end-of-life care should be thoughtful, gentle, and deeply respectful.

Lonnie Teitel
Founder & Principal
Lonnie brings more than 30 years of leadership experience to Cremation Through Water & Funeral Services, including over a decade dedicated to the death-care profession. His work has
centered on helping families and independent funeral homes navigate end-of-life planning with clarity, empathy, and trust.
Originally from Canton, Ohio, Lonnie earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron and has spent the last ten year of his career working closely with families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. Those experiences shaped his belief that there is room—and need—for gentler, more intentional options in end-of-life care.
Today, Lonnie lives in Nocatee, Florida, where he is a proud father to his son, Brandon, and a devoted dog dad to Biscuit, his lemon beagle. For Lonnie, this work is more than a business—it’s a calling rooted in service, compassion, and helping families say goodbye with grace.
